Pearl Jam History and Biography
Pearl Jam are an alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington.
Formed in 1990 from the ashes of Mother Love Bone, the band consists of frontman Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron. They quickly found fame across the UK thanks to their debut LP ‘Ten’, which hit #2 in the Billboard 200. It’s since been ranked 13x platinum and is just one of many multi-platinum records in their discography.
They have churned out a further latest 10 albums across an illustrious career, with the latest being 2020’s ‘Gigaton’. Their 12th studio LP, ‘Dark Matter’, is due to arrive in April 2024.
Pearl Jam will support their new record with The Dark Matter World Tour in 2024, which hits Europe in the summer, sandwiched between a spring North American run and AUS/NZ dates in November.
